SOL Plus is Ackuretta’s latest LCD printer that is designed to meet high-production requirements and high-capacity biocompatible dental workflows.
SOL Plus possesses all of SOL’s functionalities, such as Clean Vat function, Offline Mode, and streamlined operation with CURIE Plus, but with these additional features:
SOL Plus is a larger printer with a build area that is 2.7 times bigger than SOL’s.
SOL Plus is equipped with a controlled resin heating system that heats the vat resin to the recommended temperature prior to printing to prevent temperature-related print failures.
SOL Plus has a hood sensor that alerts the user to close the hood during operation to protect the resin from external UV exposure and to maintain proper vat temperature.
SOL Plus has an auto-locking Build Platform that maintains stability and keeps it level during operation. Once printing is completed, the Build Platform tilts while at rest to allow excess resin to drip back into the vat.
SOL Plus features a larger touchscreen interface for an improved user experience.
SOL Plus specifications can be found on the SOL Plus flyer.
SOL Plus can print up to 28 models nested vertically in less than four hours, or up to eight models nested horizontally in less than one hour with CURO Element resin.
Once the Build Platform is placed onto the Platform Module, it will automatically lock into place when printing starts. Manual locking or calibration of the Build Platform is not required. Once the print process is finished, the Build Platform will tilt while at rest to allow the excess resin drip back into the vat.
SOL and SOL Plus Build Platforms are not interchangeable due to different mounting designs. Smaller Build Platform sizes for SOL Plus will be available in the future.
SOL Plus features our Dynamic Backlight System for 385 - 405 nm wavelength photosensitive resins, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of dental resins. For a full list of SOL Plus compatible resins, refer to SOL Plus compatible resins
SOL Plus integrates a heating rod equipped with a built-in temperature sensor that ensures optimal resin temperature within the vat. If the resin temperature falls below the manufacturer’s recommended level prior to printing, the heating rod warms it accordingly. Throughout the printing process, the heating rod continuously monitors the resin temperature and pauses the print job if reheating is necessary. The heating rod increases resin temperature at an average rate of up to 2 ºC per minute, making it the fastest heating system employed in a 3D printer.
Heated resin is lower in viscosity and flows more smoothly in the vat, which results in a higher rate of successful prints.
The SOL Plus vat requires a minimum of 500 ml of resin and has a maximum capacity of 1500 ml. Follow the scale indications on the vat and do not exceed the MAX line. We recommend filling the vat just below the MAX line.
CLEANI with Tank Plus is designed to accommodate a high volume of prints per wash, aligning with the printing capacity of SOL Plus.
CURIE Plus seamlessly integrates with SOL Plus when connected to the same network. Once prints have been confirmed as successful on SOL Plus, CURIE Plus will load the curing parameters for these prints found in “Recent Prints.'' Select the print job you wish to cure and curing will begin automatically.
As resin and printer settings are cloud-based, SOL Plus requires an internet connection for printing. This allows us to make setting adjustments and new resin calibrations available instantly, as well as streamline the troubleshooting process.
An optional Offline Mode allows SOL Plus to operate for seven days without an internet connection. After being offline for seven days, the printer must be connected to the internet to resume printing capabilities or to initiate a new seven-day session in Offline Mode.
