SOL

SOL is our latest generation of LCD printers and are specifically designed to be the best chairside 3D printers available.
One important feature of SOL is the dynamic backlight. This will improve the user experience by:

  • Reducing the need for consumable
  • Reducing the maintenance
  • Increase the light uniformity

SOL is our latest generation of printer. Printer is 3 times faster than DENTIQ with a better resolution (49 μm)  and a monochrome LCD screen that increases the print screen lifespan. SOL's printing area is 25% bigger.  SOL comes with 3 build platforms: Large , Medium and Small. Small and Medium build platforms reduce the printing time. The following documents provide more information about the printing speed time and SOL build platform [https://ackuretta.com/collections/build-platforms-sol]

The material used in light-curing 3D printing is photosensitive resin, and it depends on a suitable wavelength. Our light-curing 3d printing works with 385 - 405 nm wavelength photosensitive resin.

SOL works with more than 150 precalibrated resins; the product page on the Ackuretta website  shows all of the resins for which the SOL is calibrated.

SOL can develop multiples applications including: dental models, aligner models, surgical guides, denture bases & teeth, try-in dentures, castable bridges & crowns, retainers, sleep devices, temporary crowns, indirect bonding trays, impression trays, splints, removable partial dentures.

You can find examples of the dental applications that SOL can produce on our dedicated Application article SOL resin library is automatically updated when connected to the internet

The duration for printing a dental model varies depending on the resin , layer thickness and build platform. For example it will take 20 minutes to print a crown with CURO Crown with 100 μm layer thickness on the SOL 3D printer.

The maximum number of applications SOL can print will depend on the appliance geometry. SOL flyer shows the type of applications you can print and how many fit on the build platform at the same time.

Firmware updates are published regularly and are easily accessible. This video shows how to download and install the latest firmware on your printer for SOL [SOL – Updating the Firmware]. SOL firmware updates integrate new features,  prevent bugs and printing issues. It can be easily updated via the user printer interface if the printer is connected to a network. In case of internet connection issues, the printer can also work without internet connection thanks to the Offline mode

SOL specifications can be found on our product Flyer and Brochure.
